Notes: Is it "Organic Techno" (Organica?) or "Low-Techno"? We may never know for certain, but we do know is that it is pretty darn weird. Not for the faint of heart (or those with musical taste), these instrumentals were culled from sessions for "Rough Cuts and Polished Jims" and "Efficiency". There are several tracks that I don't even remember recording, so apparently alcohol had a no small part in the inception of these "pieces". The creative process - as best as I can recollect - involved coming up with an interesting rhythm pattern on my drum machine, recording it, and then proceeding to layer synth tracks over it in an almost stream-of-conscientiousness type manner. Sometimes it actually worked. Regardless, it's an interesting listen and a probably way too revealing peek into my psyche.
